Many of you know about mojito. It is mainly a drink made up of white rum, lime or lemon and mint leaves. Black mojitos are typically made with a darker liquor. But you can also prepare non-alcoholic virgin mojito and add a twist to turn it into a black mojito. This recipe is extremely simple and is non-alcoholic. Ingredients Serves 2 pieces of lemons for each glass. Take any serving glass. Place in them the chopped pieces of lemons. Take some mint leaves. Rub them in your hands and then place them in the serving glass. Add three teaspoons of brown sugar to each glass. If you find brown sugar unavailable in your market, then you can use normal powdered sugar. Fill the glass with cola. You want your black virgin mojito to look black, not transparent as it typically is. Take any black cola, preferably Coca Cola, and fill the rest of the glass with it. This a great nonalcoholic alternative to a classic summer drink! This means, though, that I often miss out on fun-looking drinks. The best thing about summer besides the obvious-the extended break that I get is all the seasonal produce. I tried to think of what to make with them and my mind kept going back to the blackberry mojito that I drank at Smoky Mountain Brewery when Philip and I went on Spring break. It was delicious, with its combination of sweet-sour blackberries, summery lime, and fresh-tasting mint. So it was settled…a virgin blackberry mojito. Of course, if you prefer an alcoholic beverage, feel free to add a shot of light rum. Recipes Restaurants Contact Shop.
